Meet the Team:
Cam Ryan, Field Supervisor
Cameron Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University
of Auckland and a Certificate in Permaculture Design from Auckland Permaculture
Workshop. His experience includes restoration works in the Auckland parks and
the Islands of the Hauraki Gulf, and involvement in a range of community-driven
ecological projects in New Zealand and abroad.
Health and safety is a priority for Cameron and his experience in the field
helps the field teams deliver safe, quality best practice restoration methodology.
He has an “each one teach one” style of management, with an understanding that
the individuals participating in ecological restoration need to be as diverse
and resilient as the bush that they are protecting.
From planting to place making, Cameron has an interest in all things eco. If you don’t find Cameron in the bush, he’ll be feeding Tradescantia to the chickens in his urban garden.
